Aequilibrium in Crisis AS was founded on the observation that navigating uncertainty well requires more than procedures — it requires clarity, coherence, and a steady posture.
Our practice is grounded in over twenty years of operational and strategic experience — from field coordination in conflict zones to institutional crisis management at headquarters level — including the management of major incidents such as disappearances, kidnappings, armed attacks, reputational crises, and situations involving critical loss.
Each engagement is built from the organisation’s actual situation — not applied to it. We do not offer generic solutions.
Why “Aequilibrium”?
In Latin, aequilibrium evokes not just stability, but harmony within disorder.
But balance is not a straight line. It is a movement between urgency and perspective, emotion and strategy, intuition and method.
Balance must be negotiated — with circumstances, with others, with oneself. It is cultivated in the details, protected through flexibility, and lived as a path: fragile, demanding, and alive.
This understanding shapes how we work: reflective, contextual, and focused on strengthening your own capacity under pressure.
